Located successively at 17 rue des petits écuries then at 16 rue de la Paix in Paris, the J. TESTEMALE workshop is one of those great design workshops that have worked for the biggest fashion brands in the 1950s to 1970s. True works of art, it is easy to see in these projects that the finesse of the drawing is remarkable, as is the mastery of color. In fact, you will find unfinished projects for sale in the gallery that allow you to understand the artist's creative process and the quality of the works on offer. Most of the time in the pure Liberty style, the artists of the workshop were able to show creativity and come up with floral motifs that were both subtle and colorful, influenced by the Art and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements.
