Jean-Marie Ledannois (1940-2014) paints with power and nuance nature and the elements that compose it: water, air, earth and fire. The great talent of the artist is to know how to grab the viewer by the beauty of his colors and the subtle internal movements of shadows and light of his gouaches while giving rise to the viewer of contrasting emotions: joy or melancholy, appeasement or energy.
