Alain Michel BOUCHER is an offbeat artist, dreamer and poet who gives us to see the real world that surrounds him but also his inner world fed by a flamboyant and colorful imagination. Influenced by artists from the COBRA movement, his design is expressive, simplistic and spontaneous. At the beginning of his career, he lets us glimpse the dark and threatening universe of cities and factories that color softens. Subsequently, he painted imaginary characters whose symbolic presence designates the human species. From 1987, the artist lives in the Gers and his palette becomes more lively and integrates a dominant and powerful blue.
